• Curious rules for the Royals
  • William and Kate do not eat together with their children
  • THIS is the reason

The royals have to adhere to many rules. These apply not only in public but also at home. Prince William (41), Duchess Kate (42) and their three children follow an equally strict protocol.

Even more crazy rules:

THIS is why William, Kate and the children do not eat together

As 'Harper's Bazaar' reports, cozy family dinners are likely to be rare in the royal family. Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (6) are not allowed to sit at the table with their parents for official dinners. At those events (including Christmas), they sit at a children's table.

But why? Only when they have "learned the art of polite conversation", they are allowed to sit at their parents' table. This was also confirmed by the late Queen's former chef, Darren McGrady, according to the 'Mirror'.

More Royal news:

According to this, the offspring always ate with their nannies: "The children always ate in the nursery until they were old enough to conduct themselves properly at the dining table."

Fortunately, this rule only applies to official dinners, such as Christmas dinner. On normal days, the whole family is sure to gather around the table.
