Jennifer Landon was born in 1983 to Michael Landon and Cindy Clerico. Her biological siblings are screenwriter Christopher Landon and actor and director Michael Landon Jr.. Jennifer got into acting at five years old when her father cast her in an uncredited role as a little girl in a couple of episodes of Highway to Heaven. She actually worked with him again in 1991 when she was cast as in the pilot for the TV series Us. Michael Landon passed away that same year, so the project was unfortunately discontinued.

Jennifer Landon went on to star in 28 episodes of The Young and the Restless as "Heather Stevens" in 2012 and from 2017 until 2018, she starred as "Amy" on the TNT series Animal Kingdom. In 2020, Landon appeared in season three of the Kevin Costner-led western hit series Yellowstone as "Teeter", a new wrangler on the "Dutton" family ranch.
