The "Ironic" singer Alanis Morissette and the hilarious television personality Jimmy Fallon, both 45 years old, surprised fans by going undercover busking at New York City's 50th Street subway station, below Rockefeller Center! The musician wore a blonde wig and a fuzzy coat, while the late night talk show host wore a long beard and aviator shades. The moment was featured during a segment of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday.
Alanis Morissette's ninth studio album is on the way
The surprise concert comes only a couple days after Alanis Morissette announced she will be embarking on a 31-stop North American tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her album Jagged Little Pill, which features her smash hit "You Oughta Know." In May 2020 the Canadian singer will be releasing her ninth studio album Such Pretty Forks in the Road, which includes the song "Reasons I Drink," released earlier this week.
