Anne Archer has acting running in her blood. Both her mother, Marjorie Lord, and her father, John Archer, were actors and darlings of the world of show business. Anne made her acting debut in 1971, but she became an international household name when she starred in Fatal Attraction.
Annie Archer (69) had her first professional acting job when she was just twenty-four in the TV series Alias Smith and Jones. She had a guest appearance in Little House on the Prairie and starred in twenty-two episodes of Falcon Crest in 1985. She had her big breakthrough in 1987, when she starred as Beth Gallagher alongside Michael Douglas (72) and Glenn Close (70) in the Oscar-nominated thriller Fatal Attraction. She was nominated for an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA for her fabulous performance.
Anne Archer is still an in-demand actress
After finding fame as Beth Gallagher in Fatal Attraction, she appeared in countless films, such as Mojave Moon and Felon. She was also a sought-after TV actress and has had parts in both the Ghost Whisperer and Privileged. She played Jane Fonda (79) in the play The Trial of Jane Fonda in 2014. She last appeared on TV screens in an episode of The Grinder in 2016 and was back on the silver screen in the thriller Traffic in 2017.
Anne Archer was married to the author William Davis from 1969 to 1977. They have one son together, Tommy Davis (44). Anne Archer married TV producer Terry Jastrow (68) in 1979 and they had a son, Jeffrey Tucker Jastrow (32) in 1984. They are still happily married today.
