Anthony Michael Hall has issued an apology after video of an explicit outburst at a hotel pool circulated earlier this week. The Breakfast Club actor said, "I am deeply sorry for my words and actions," in a statement released on Aug. 14. In the video, Hall is seen loudly cursing at fellow swimmers after he was reportedly asked to quiet down and hold off on explicit language.
Anthony Michael Hall has spoken out with regret after a video showed him on an explicit tirade at a hotel pool.
TMZ first posted the video on Aug. 13, when Hall was filmed in a pool yelling at swimmers and people on the deck. Reportedly, the 52-year-old actor was playing loud music and had been asked to stop swearing, after which he went on a tirade captured on video.

In the video, an uncooperative Hall is seen cursing at multiple people, splashing at them, and attempting to intimidate swimmers.
On Friday, Hall apologized for his actions in a statement released to People and TMZ. "I want to formally apologize to the entire staff, my family, and everyone who was witness to the incident yesterday that occurred at the hotel in Austin," Hall said in the apology.
"As a result of a misunderstanding and miscommunication between myself and some hotel guests, the situation needlessly and regrettably escalated," the apology continued.
"I am deeply sorry for my words and actions and ask for forgiveness from anyone who I may have offended, anyone who was witness to this incident and my family, business partners, friends and fans."

Best known for his "Brat Pack" days, the Breakfast Club and Weird Science star continues to act today. Now 52 years old, Hall has recently appeared as a guest in shows such as The Goldbergs, Riverdale, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and The Blacklist.
However, his personal life has been complicated on occasions prior to the pool meltdown. Hall was also arrested on assault charges and got probation and community service in 2016.
