'Boy Meets World': This Is Danielle Fishel Today
Danielle Fishel played quirky "Topanga Lawrence" in the series Boy Meets World. It has been roughly seventeen years since the show finished, what has the stunning actress been up to in the meantime?
The series Boy Meets World follows the fictional life of eleven-year-old "Cory Matthews" who lives in Philadelphia with his family. The show's main focus is on his problems as a teenager and those of his friend "Topanga", who is played by Danielle Fishel (38). Danielle was just twelve when the series started and became an overnight star. The end of the series did not mean the end of her career however, she is still a very in-demand actress. She has appeared in countless TV series and films over the last fifteen years.
Danielle Fishel is still successful
She starred in the 2003 film Dorm Daze and played the same role in the film's sequel in 2006. She was a special correspondent for The Tyra Banks Show and moderated The Dish from 2008 to 2011.
Danielle went back to her roots to play Topanga again from 2014 to 2017 in Girl Meets World, a sequel to Boy Meets World. It follows the life of "Riley Matthews", "Cory" and "Topanga's" daughter. This time round Danielle Fishel is no longer a teenager and instead plays "Riley's" mother. Her husband "Cory" is also played by the original actor who played him, Ben Savage (38).
