Charlie Sheen has made it a full year since he quit smoking on the 4th of July 2019. See the Two and a Half Men actor's message of hope and good health on his one-year anniversary.
Charlie Sheen is sharing a message of encouragement to those who are considering a smoke-free lifestyle.
On Saturday, the 54-year-old actor celebrated one year since he quit smoking on July 4, 2019. It made for a doubly special 4th of July 2020, as the former Two and a Half Men star took to Twitter to mark the occasion.
"Dear @my lungs, it was one year ago TODAY, that i quit smoking," Sheen wrote. "Hashtag - YOU'RE WELCOME !"
He then added, "If i could go back in time and have NEVER STARTED, i would absolutely do so ! if you are on the fence about quitting, trust me; the sooner the better ! happy 4th !"

Sheen's smoke-free lifestyle now goes hand in hand with multiple years of commitment to sobriety. As People reports, the Platoon actor celebrated the same one-year mark for sobriety in 2018.
"A fabulous moment, in my renewed journey," he wrote in late 2018, when he received an Alcoholics Anonymous medallion.
