Matthew Ryan Phillippe got his start in Hollywood with the cult classic movie Cruel Intentions. He is now 45 years old and still active in the entertainment industry and we found ourselves wondering, what exactly he is up to now! Find out here...

Ryan Phillippe was born on September 10th, 1974 in New Castle, Delaware. His acting debut was in the ABC daytime drama One Life to Live playing the role of "Billy Douglas" from 1992 to 1993. From then on, he got some pretty prestigious roles in films like I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), 54 (1998) and Cruel Intentions (1999).

Since he made his mark in the 90's, things have continued to come his way. Ryan was married to his Cruel Intentions co-star Reese Witherspoon from 1999 to 2007 and they had a daughter, Ava Elizabeth born in September 1999 and a son, Deacon Reese born in 2003. Ryan also had another daughter named Kai with his ex Alexis Knapp in 2011.

Ryan Phillippe: His big roles

In 2011, Ryan returned back to television in his first regular role since One Life to Live in the final season of the TV show Damages. In 2012, he made his directorial debut with the film Catch Hell and in 2013 he had a role in the action-thriller movie Reclaim. In 2014, Phillippe starred in the pilot series Secrets and Lies for a ten episode run.
