Daniel Wroughton Craig is an English actor best known for his role as James Bond. He has portrayed the British secret agent in a total of five Bond films, including 2020's No Time To Die. The Bond franchise has produced some of the highest-grossing films of all time, including Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2015).
Craig realized he had wanted to act at a young age; he had already begun acting in school plays at age 6, and by the age of 16, he attended National Youth Theatre in London. He then graduated in 1991 from the esteemed Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He had his first screen role in 1992's The Power of One and worked his way up through smaller British television and movie roles.
Since starring in the Bond films, Daniel Craig has taken on many other action film roles, including Defiance (2008), The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2011) and Cowboys & Aliens (2011). Craig was married to actress Fiona Loudon from 1992-1994, and share a daughter together. He is now married to British-American actress, Rachel Weisz, since 2011. In September 2018, the couple welcomed their first child together.
