For the second year in a row, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson dominated the Forbes magazine list of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood. According to reports, the main star of Jumanji received more than $87 million in the last few months alone. Also on the list are actors Ryan Reynolds and Mark Wahlberg.
From dominating the wrestling rings to having one of the most enviable bank accounts in all of Hollywood, Dwayne Johnson is one impressive man. In addition to being considered one of the most popular figures in America, Dwayne Johnson can boast of being the highest-paid actor in the entire entertainment industry. According to Forbes magazine, the star of Fast and Furious, Baywatch and Jumanji between June 2019 and June 2020, earned the not inconsiderable amount of $87.5 million for his work on the big screen. This is the second year in a row that "The Rock" has topped the list.
Dwayne Johnson is the highest-paid actor in Hollywood
According to reports from the specialized business magazine, in the last fourteen months, Johnson had profits in excess of $87 million.
Although the sum represents a decrease of $2 million from last year, this was enough for the high-class celebrity to be considered the highest paid in Hollywood for the third time in his career.
Forbes ensures that the actor/fighter was able to secure the registered figure thanks to his multiple jobs, including the check for $23.5 million that he received for starring in the film Red Notice from Netflix which is due out later this year.
Ryan Reynolds, Mark Wahlberg, and Ben Affleck, among the highest paid in Hollywood
The publication also marked figures such as Ryan Reynolds, Vin Diesel, Will Smith, and Adam Sandler on their list of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood in the last year.
Reynolds came in second with $71.5 million, followed by Mark Wahlberg ($58 million), Ben Affleck ($55 million) and Vin Diesel ($54 million).
The top 10 was completed by the Indian actor Akshay Kumar, with $48.5 million dollars; Lin-Manuel Miranda, with $45.5 million; Will Smith, with $44.5 million; Adam Sandler, with $41 million and Jackie Chan, with $40 million.
