Susan Sullivan's role in Falcon Crest
The American drama series followed the lives of the "Channing" family, who live and work in the Victorian Falcon Crest mansion. The lovely "Maggie Gioberti Channing", played by Susan Sullivan is "Chase Gioberti's" (Robert Foxworth) wife and works as a freelance journalist. After "Chase's" death, she falls in love with "Richard Channing" (David Selby) and they get married. Sadly, the marriage does not last and Susan Sullivan left the show after her character "Maggie" drowned in a swimming pool.
Susan Sullivan's career
Before playing "Maggie Gioberti Channing", Susan had already been working as an actress for nearly two decades! She had her first television role in 1964 and signed a contract with Universal Studios in 1969 and appeared in several TV shows produced by the company. She appeared in her first soap opera role in 1970 in The Best of Everything. Before taking TV screens by storm in Falcon Crest, she also played supporting roles in Kojak, Another World and Rich Man, Poor Man.
Sullivan also appeared in numerous film productions such as Midway and The Incredible Hulk. After Falcon Crest, Susan starred in the George Carlin Show and in the 1997 film The Wedding of My Best Friend.
In the following years, she appeared in numerous productions such as Dharma & Greg and Two and a Half Men and starred as "Martha Rodgers" in the crime series Castle from 2009 to 2016. Since 2018, she has played "Eileen" in the comedy series The Kominsky Method.
Susan has two sons from former marriages and has been happily married to psychologist Connell Cowan since 1989.
