Billie Eilish makes history with 4 Grammy wins
Sweeping the floor with nominations and wins, Eilish was in a daze and in tears walking off stage after receiving four major category wins.
Finneas O'Connell, her producer, collaborator and brother joined in backstage and reflected on the wins. Both siblings worked together on their wildly successful debut studio album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
Most of the record was recorded in their bedroom at their family home, however O'Connell expressed their success was the result of a lot of hard work from an army of people.
"This is surreal. This is like a dream."
Eilish took home the four biggest wins, which include Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year.
"I genuinely want to say I am so grateful and I am so honoured to be here. I grew up watching all of you," Eilish said during one of her acceptance speeches.
Just three days prior, Eilish also released a new single and video called "Everything I Wanted".
The GRAMMYs took place just hours after the horrific news of Kobe Bryant losing his life in a helicopter crash in Calabasas. Many celebrities, Eilish included, payed their respects during their performances.
