The pop singer is also a philanthropist, after the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami she donated 1 million dollars to Save the Children's Japan EartquakeTsunami Children in Emergency Fund. She has also auctioned some of the clothes she has wore in public events and donated the money to charity.
Considered one of the 100 Greatest Women in Music, in 2014 Gwen Stefani joined the seventh season of the American singing competition The Voice as a coach, and this year she will return as a judge for the 17th season of the show, replacing Maroon 5's Adam Levine. Since 2018 she has been performing at Gwen Stefani-Just a Girl concert residency in Las Vegas; the show will conclude in November 2019.
