Gwyneth Paltrow Admits Her Passion For Acting Isn't As Strong Now - "It Wasn't What I Wanted To Do"
Gwyneth Paltrow has built an outstanding acting career both in film and television, but it seems that her passion for acting is not as strong as it used to be. Or at least that's what she recently said during the 2019 Advertising Week - New York.
From Shakespeare in Love, to Shallow Hal, and Iron Man, we have always enjoyed all of Gwyneth Paltrow's roles on the big screen and it could be said that we have been very familiar with her acting career in the past years. However, the 47-year-old actress just revealed that her career is not her main focus anymore: "I wouldn’t say I’m that passionate about it anymore… I have had a lot of good luck and a lot of hard work, which led to a really good film career… at a certain point I felt like it wasn’t what I wanted to do," the actress said during the 2019 Advertising Week - New York.
What has Gwyneth Paltrow been up to lately?
Gwyneth Paltrow's most recent acting work is in the Netflix's series The Politician as "Georgina", but she actually said that her husband Brad Falchuk -creator of the show- was the one who convinced her about taking over the role. "He had to convince me a little bit, I’ve got a pretty big day job over at goop.com, so I sorta put acting on the back burner. But he was writing and he was like, ‘I think I’m writing a part for you.’ And I was like, ‘I don’t think I can do a part.’ And lo and behold, here I am.” The Politician is set to premiere this Friday the 27th of September.
