James Van Der Beek is still going strong on season 28 of Dancing with the Stars and last night, in honour of Disney night, his Dawson's Creek parents came to the live studio to cheer him on! See the pictures here...

James Van Der Beek starred in Dawson's Creek from 1998 to 2003 and his parents on the show were played by Mary-Margaret Humes and John Wesley. The pair of them made their way to the Dancing with the Stars studio for Disney night on October 14th to cheer on their "favorite "son""! Mary-Margaret posted a picture of her and John on their way to the show as well as a lovely picture of the "family of three" after James' performance.

James was very grateful for the amazing Dawson's Creek reunion and support from his "parents" so many years later. He posted in his Instagram story about how amazing it was to have his TV parents in the audience watching him perform. We also loved to see how close of a relationship these three still have so many years after their show ended.

"So proud of this one right here!!!"

James Van Der Beek Had an Entourage to Watch Him Perform

James performed a paso doble to a song from Pirates of the Caribbean, dressed as a pirate and all. The routine earned him a score of 26 out of 30 with his partner Emma Slater. James also had his whole family their to watch him and cheer him on!
