Jennifer Aniston shared her thoughts on the current movie and television industry in an interview with Variety and how it influenced her to give television another go. Keep reading to see what she has to say...

Jennifer Aniston is set to return to the small screen in the upcoming television series The Morning Show for Apple TV+ starring alongside Steve Carell and Reese Witherspoon. Aniston recently opened up to Variety about her thoughts on the entertainment industry today. "It wasn’t until the last couple of years when these streaming services were just sort of exploding with this amount of quality that I actually started to think, “Wow, that’s better than what I just did,”" Aniston said about her return to TV.

Jennifer would love to have the era of Meg Ryan back

Jennifer talked about how the movie industry has changed by saying, "It’s changed so much. I think we would so love to have the era of Meg Ryan come back. I just think it would be nice to go into a movie theater, sit cozy. I think we should have a resurgence. Let’s get the ‘Terms of Endearment’ back out there. You know, ‘Heaven Can Wait,’ ‘Young Frankenstein,’ ‘Blazing Saddles,’ ‘Goodbye Girl'."

Jennifer Aniston stars in The Morning Show

Aniston also went on to say that what's most prominent in theatres now are the "big Marvel movies" and how she's not "really that interested in living in a green screen" as an actress. We are however excited for Aniston to return to the small screen for The Morning Show, which is a dramedy about a shake up at a local new station that leaves "Alex Levy" (Jennifer Aniston) fighting to keep her job.
