Jennifer Lopez Is "A Little Heartbroken" Over Wedding To Alex Rodriguez Being Delayed
In a recent interview, Jennifer Lopez shared her sadness about her and fiancé Alex Rodriguez's wedding plans being put on hold! Here's what she said about the situation!
Jennifer Lopez is disappointed that her wedding to Alex Rodriguez wasn't able to go ahead as planned due to the coronavirus. As Entertainment Tonight reports, during Lopez's appearance on the Today show on Tuesday, she opened up to host Hoda Kotb about her feelings concerning the postponement.
"I'm a little heartbroken because we did have some great plans, but I'm also like, you know what? God has a bigger plan," Lopez said. "So we just have to wait and see. Maybe it's going to be better. I have to believe that it will be."
Lopez says that "everything's kind of on hold right now" with plans
Lopez said that since at the moment "nobody knows" when things will be able to return to somewhat of a normal state, she and Rodriguez haven't gone ahead with making new wedding plans. "There's no planning right now. You just have to kind of wait and see how this all plays out," Lopez explained.
"It's disappointing on one level. After the Super Bowl and after World of Dance, after we finished filming it, I planned to take time off, which is what we're doing kind of right now." Her wedding plans weren't the only thing that got shelved due to the pandemic either. "But at the same time, we had a lot of plans for this summer and this year," Lopez shared. "But everything's kind of on hold right now."
Lopez says first dance with Rodriguez "will be a big production"
Rodriguez previously talked to Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frasier about how the coronavirus has forced he and Lopez to reschedule their wedding plans, saying that they will have to be "very fluid" and "think very proactively."
As Entertainment Tonight mentions, Lopez also spoke to the news outlet's Keltie Knight, revealing that she's already beginning to think up ideas for her first dance with Rodriguez as a married couple. "I know a lot of different styles. Knowing me, it will be a big production of some sort," she shared.
