Jon Peters Claims Pamela Anderson Married Him To Pay Off Her Debt
It was a short-lived marriage, and now Jon Peters is coming forward with his side of the story following their split earlier this month... read on to see what he said!
Jon Peters is opening up about why he and Pamela Anderson split! The pair were married for just 12 days, and as Peters revealed, Anderson actually proposed to him via text!
He refers to their unique relationship situation as being "kind of a dream come true even if I was engaged to someone else and the lady was moving in," according to media outlet Page Six. Then, Peters made the bold claim that Anderson's financial struggles were the real reason she was so quick to want to marry him!
Peters talks about how he'd "dropped everything for Pam"
Jon Peters says that because Pamela Anderson was in serious debt at the time of their marriage, he wanted to help her out financially. “I dropped everything for Pam,” he claimed. “She had almost $200,000 in bills and no way to pay it so I paid it and this is the thanks I get. There’s no fool like an old fool.”
A representative for Anderson denies Peters' allegations, releasing a strongly worded statement to People on the topic. “These claims are not only entirely fabricated, they are ludicrous," Anderson's rep said in response. "Despite Mr. Peters’ scurrilous and ongoing efforts to elicit a response from Ms. Anderson, she has no comment to provide and hopes he is well.”
