Jonathan Scott Says 'The Perfect Person' To Social Distance With Is Girlfriend Zooey Deschanel
Many are living with their partner while self-isolating right now, including Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel! Find out what he said about being quarantined with her!
Jonathan Scott may be stuck in isolation with Zooey Deschanel, but he certainly doesn't mind the arrangement! The pair have been dating for seven months now, and in a new interview with People, Scott opened up about why he's enjoying living with Deschanel while social distancing.
Scott shares that their house "is constantly filled with music"
"Let me tell you, I’ve been quarantined with the perfect person," the Property Brothers star said of his girlfriend. "Not only is Zooey an amazing cook, but she’s a musician, so our house is constantly filled with music".
Apart from being an actress, Deschanel is also one half of the musical duo She & Him, accompanied by M. Ward. Scott is a big fan of Deschanel's music, and she even brought him onstage at one of her shows!
Scott reveals that Deschanel gave him an at-home haircut
Scott went on to share that Deschanel's talents aren't just limited to making great meals and music. According to him, she's skilled when it comes to hairdressing too! "She cut and colored my hair and did an incredible job," he told People. "Better than I think the salon could do it".
While being quarantined from the rest of the world can be challenging, Scott acknowledged that he's lucky to have found someone special to spend his days with. "I’m blown away, it’s really been wonderful,” he said of social distancing with Deschanel. "I think we’re just taking it one day at a time here and it’s a crazy thing nobody would have predicted. But I’m glad that I’m with somebody that I love, and somebody who’s so talented".
Jonathan Scott and brother Drew both isolated with partners
Jonathan Scott isn't the only one of the Property Brothers to be self-quarantined with his partner. As People reports, his brother Drew is social distancing with his wife Linda Phan, and the two couples are finding ways to stay busy while engaging with fans during this challenging time.
Social media and video sharing have come in handy for them both, allowing them to stay in touch with loved ones and hone new musical skills. Jonathan shared via Instagram that he's been working on learning piano, while Drew told People that he has been practicing guitar over FaceTime with dad Jim!

I have filled this unexpected down time with catching up on work but also enjoying activities that I don't always have time to do. Like I said on our IG Live last week with @mrdrewscott and @imlindork, I'm determined to play the piano. Any song suggestions for a beginner? Remember, I'm an old dog learning a new trick! #HomeTogether
