Kelly Rowland is speaking out about how she feels regarding cancel culture! As People shares, the former Destiny's Child singer posted a statement on Instagram on Friday where she expressed her views on the topic.

Rowland implores people not to be judgemental of others

Rowland used the Notes app to type out her statement, which began with her gratitude about never having been canceled herself. "In this 'cancel culture' we live in, I am SO grateful God NEVER canceled me, And I'm sure he could've many-a-times!" she wrote.

"Let us TRY to remember NOT to judge others. We HONESTLY don't have the space nor authority too!" Rowland continued. "Let us remember to lead With love & kindness, the world has enough negativity, for you to pour more into it!" She concluded her post with a hashtag all in capital letters, "#STOPTRYINTOBEGOD."

Rowland's Instagram followers agree with her statement

Rowland urged people to think about the impact that their actions have, posing an important question. "So what light are you bringing into the world?" she asked in the caption of her Instagram post. "Please share it with me in the comments below."

As People mentions, many of Rowland's Instagram followers took to the comments to share that they were in agreement, including several celebs! "This is the way thank you sis!" singer Miguel wrote. Actresses Malika Haqq and Tabitha Brown commented too. Haqq said that "cancel" is "A VERY STRONG WORD," while Brown stated "Amen and Amen."

Rowland certainly isn't the only celebrity to speak out on the topic! During a special Juneteenth episode of the show Red Table Talk, Willow Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith talked about cancel culture. John Cleese also voiced his thoughts on cancel culture recently! With the internet becoming less and less forgiving, hopefully people will take Rowland's words to heart!
