Kristen Bell And Dax Shepard Waive April Rent For Their Tenants
In these uncertain times, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have decided to lessen the financial stress of their tenants! Find out more about their extremely kind gesture!
Kristen Bell and her husband Dax Shepard are stepping up to help renters avoid financial hardship! As Entertainment Tonight reports, the couple own several properties in Los Angeles, California through their company, Pringus Property LLC.
Due to the global coronavirus situation, Bell and Shepard decided that they would make an extremely considerate gesture... waiving tenants' rent for the month of April! Tenants were notified of the good news thanks to Shepard's sister, who acts as property manager for the buildings.
Bell and Shepard's message "expressed empathy and encouragement"
Bell and Shepard's decision to temporarily waive their tenants' rent is one that will no doubt be looked on favourably by the people living in their properties. It comes while residents of Los Angeles are restricted from leaving their homes, excepting essential outings. In a statement for Entertainment Tonight, Bell's representative confirmed the generous gesture. "Kristen and Dax are waiving the April rent for the buildings in L.A. they own," Bell's rep said. "The manager (Dax's sister) emailed all tenants this weekend to give them the good news".
Her rep also went on to speak to the overall tone of the message and its response to the current situation. "The message expressed empathy and encouragement," Bell's rep said, "and promised to work with residents going forward as best as possible as everyone learns to adjust to the public health crisis".
Bell has also provided financial aid in this time of crisis, sharing on Instagram that she (and her kids!) gave a generous donation to No Kid Hungry.

NKH has always been there for kids who need them. They work tirelessly to provide food for the hungry bellys all over this country. I encourage anyone with the means to share to donate as well, any amount helps, so we can get through this together. (The reason the number is odd, is because when my kids overheard me making the donation, they asked if they could also donate the money from thier piggy bank. I couldnt have been prouder to add that extra, and important 7 dollars and 96 cents. ) #Repost @nokidhungry with @make_repost ・・・ We're BEYOND grateful to our friend and #HungerHero @kristenanniebell for her gift of $150,007.96! Thank you for helping us send out even more grants to schools and community groups working to feed kids during the #COVID19 outbreak.
