During a recent interview on a Brazilian television show, Lizzo took a swing at the men who think it's okay to publicly shame her appearance. Find out what she said!

Lizzo is tired of men shaming her for her looks. In a recent interview for Brazilian television program TV Folha, she opened up about the double standard of how men's looks are perceived in the industry compared to women's.

“What does that tell you about the oppressor?" she asked. "What does that tell you about men? Get it together, we don’t talk about your d**k sizes, do we?"

Lizzo speaks out on "politicized" sexuality, beauty standards

Lizzo also mentioned that she doesn't think she's immune from her sexuality being seen as a political topic within the entertainment industry. “I don’t think I’m any different than any of the other great women who’ve come before me that had to literally be politicized just to be sexual…you know what I mean? Just to exist.” Lizzo said.

She went on to say that she's grateful to the women who paved the way for her by challenging traditional beauty standards. “Things that were beautiful on them were called flaws," Lizzo pointed out, "and they persisted against that, fought against that, and now I’m able to do what I do because of those great women”.
