Mandy Moore honoured with star on Hollywood Walk of Fame!
Actress Mandy Moore was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday. Her A Walk to Remember co-star, Shane West, and the entire This Is Us cast were there to support her.
Long before starring in the hit series This Is Us, Mandy Moore proved that she wasn't just a pop star playing at acting (who else can remember her hit I Wanna Be With You?!) when she starred alongside Shane West in the 2002 drama A Walk to Remember.

On Monday 25th March Mandy Moore and Shane West reunited for a very special event. Moore was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the ceremony was opened by both Shane and Dan Fogelman, the creator of This Is Us.
Thirty-four-year-old Moore made a speech thanking Shane for his role in first shaping her acting career when she was just starting out, revealing, "reflecting back on that time, my first leading role, I can't help but think of my poor, sweet co-star Shane, explaining the basics of filmmaking to me, like how to hit my mark and when and how to deliver my lines".
She also thanked Fogelman for casting her in This Is Us, saying, "A career is shaped by so many things, and for me, there are two monumental projects that represent both where I started and where I am now".
She continued, "it takes just one person to see a spark in you, to see you in a way that you may not see yourself, to give you permission to go beyond what the world may or may not expect of you and completely change the path of your life and career."
