Martin Scorsese Wives: 5 Marriages
Martin Scorsese is easily one of the most critically acclaimed and recognizable directors alive. His world-renowned films like Taxi Driver, The Aviator, The Departed, Goodfellas, and Raging Bull have made him a household name!
He's also a hopeless romantic! The Casino director married his college sweetheart Laraine Brennan in 1965 and the 2 had their first daughter Catherine. Then they divorced a few years later in 1971.
Martin then married journalist Julia Cameron in 1976 with whom he had his second daughter Domenica, but unfortunately, that marriage only lasted 1 year. Julia wrote for the Washington Post and Rolling Stone.
In 1979 the Shutter Island director married Isabella Rossellini, the daughter of Ingrid Bergman and one of Martin's favorite directors, Roberto Rossellini. Isabella is a successful model, filmmaker and actress who was nominated for a Golden Globe in 1996. This marriage lasted longer than his marriage with Julia, divorcing 3 years after marrying. Isabelle later had a relationship with another respected director, David Lynch!
The Wolf of Wall Street director's fourth marriage in 1985 was to Barbara De Fina, a Hollywood film producer. She even produced many films her husband directed like Goodfellas and Casino. She even produced Michael Jackson's infamous music video "Bad" with Quincy Jones! Martin and Barbara divorced after 6 years together.
His fifth and final marriage was to writer Helen Morris in 1999 after meeting on the set of his film Kundun. The two have had a very supportive and loving marriage and a daughter, Francesca who has been in Martin's films The Departed and The Aviator!

This is a little bit late but: The Museum of Modern Art has always meant a lot to me, from the time I started going there for screenings when I was young. I saw so many films there, so many remarkable titles that came with that card: "Presented by the Museum of Modern Art." I am overwhelmed by the words spoken by Emily Mortimer, Jonah Hill, Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert DeNiro in my honor. Thank you to all who contributed to the benefit Monday evening!
