Luisana Lopilato is opening up about the fallout surrounding her and husband Michael Bublé's Instagram Live video from last month.

In the widely circulated video, Bublé is seen elbowing his wife and handling her in a manner that some regarded as overly aggressive. But immediately afterward, Lopilato came to the singer's defense, saying that the video was misconstrued.

However, the situation escalated to the point of death threats to Bublé, Lopilato revealed in a new interview with the Argentine talk show Intrusos

Michael Bublé's wife reveals death threats after Instagram Live video

Hello! reported on Lopilato's interview with Intrusos. In it, she recalls the outpouring of love the couple received as they defended their marriage — but also, and more concerningly, about death threats that were made toward Bublé.

"We received a lot of love from people but you wouldn't believe the amount of people who sent me photos with weapons saying they were going to kill Mike when he reached Argentina, photos of knives from people laughing and saying they were going to cut off his fingers, leave a bomb for us or give him a beating," the Argentine actress told Intrusos.

"It made me afraid and I still feel a little bit frightened. It's not nice to receive death threats. There were a lot of threats. The positive messages we received outnumbered them but I am worried for my family. I suffered a lot with what happened," she continued.

"It caused Mike a lot of pain, too. He loves Argentina and he loves being with me in Argentina when I'm working. He loves the friends he has in Argentina. Can you imagine what it feels like to receive a photo from Argentina of a youngster holding a weapon and the warning: 'This is what you're going to get when you come here!'"

Luisana Lopilato and Michael Bublé defend their marriage

Bublé, a Canadian singer, and Lopilato have been married for nine years and share three children together.

The original Instagram Live video went viral in mid-April, after which fans expressed concern for Lopilato's safety. But Lopilato, 32, has once again defended her husband one month later.

"Mike is a gentleman who is always concerned with trying to make me even more happy than I already am," she concluded in the new interview.
