Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29th, 1958 in Gary, Indiana, USA. He was the 8th child of ten. Michael is just ten years old in this cute photo, but he was already an incredible singer.

He was already a member of the popular band "The Jackson Five" in 1970. The band's members were Michael and four of his older brothers.

The band had a number one hit in the US with their single "I Want You Back" in 1969.
