"NCIS": She is taking over "Abby's" job

Since Pauley Perrette announced her exit from NCIS, fans have been eagerly waiting to see who would replace "Abby" as a forensic scientist. On Twitter, CBS announced that a successor had been found, and she had even been seen in NCIS before.  

After 15 seasons Pauley Perrette (49) eventually left NCIS earlier this year. Since then, there has been speculation as to who could take Pauley Perrette's place on the show. According to CBS, the actress Diona Reasonover (26) will star in the coming season as a forensic scientist.

Diona Reasonover will be "Kasie Hines"

As CBS recently announced on Twitter, Diona is now a member of the main cast of the show. Previously, the actress appeared in three episodes of the crime series as "Kasie Hines" and will role will replace "Abby" in the forensic lab with the star of the 16th season.  

Diona Reasonover is known for her role in the movies The Clapper and The Standoff. Furthermore she had smaller roles on different shows, like 2 Broke Girls and Grace & Frankie. Diona also works as a screenwriter.

Diona had already been substituting for Pauley Perrette in the last couple of episodes of the 15th season, after "Abby" said farewell to the show shortly before. The fans of NCIS remain curious how "Kasie" will perform next season alongside "Gibbs" (Mark Harmon, 66) and all the others, when the show's 16th season premieres on September 25th on CBS.
