You guys! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this happening. I am so beyond grateful. I got my first job in television in 1972, I was 12. It was an Easter commercial for @JCPenny and I had to eat a chocolate bunny. I should have known then that food and television would be linked for me. This doesn't happen overnight and it doesn't happen alone. I am so grateful to the amazing group of people that make #valerieshomecooking possible. Executive producers Ronnie, Marc and Jack, Scott. Producers Elaine, Susan and Lindsey. The culinary staff lead by Mary Beth, the sure hands of our camera crew, audio dept, art dept, lighting, editors, accounting, PA's, glam squad Lisa and Kimmie, wardrobe Lori and Chesney It truly takes a village and I am blessed to be surrounded by such an outstanding one. Thank you, @foodnetwork for giving me this opportunity to share my passion with everyone. And thank you to YOU for watching! #daytimeemmys
Today, the actress and food host is married to Tom Vitale, who she's been with since 2004. She has a son from previous marriage to rocker Eddie Van Halen.
