Paul Hogan became an international star as "Mick Dundee" in the 1986 comedy adventure Crocodile Dundee. Two sequels of the cult classic followed, as well as a marriage to co-star Linda Kozlowski.

The now 80-year-old Australian actor Paul Hogan had his big breakthrough starring in the 1986 movie Crocodile Dundee. Audiences everywhere were captivated by the tale of the bushman and hunter, who was raised by Aborigines in the Outback and ends up travelling to New York City.

Crocodile Dundee is still the most successful Australian production of all time, grossing over $47 million Dollars, and it also earned Paul Hogan a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Comedy.

Paul Hogan: His career after Crocodile Dundee

Hogan reprised his role for two more films, but they didn't live up to the success of the first one. He later appeared in films such as Lightning Jack, which also wasn't a real hit at the box office. He was last seen in the Australian production Charlie & Boots in 2009.

Paul Hogan's personal life

While shooting Crocodile Dundee, Paul Hogan fell in love with his co-star Linda Kozlowski (62), who played young American journalist Sue CharltonThey got married in 1990 and have a son together, Chance. The couple got divorced in 2013. Hogan also has five children from his first marriage to Noelene Edwards.

Hogan will star in the upcoming Australian comedy The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee in which will be released in 2020!
