Piers Morgan Is Taken Off TV After Being Tested For COVID-19
Host of Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan, has felt a 'mild symptom' in the past 48 hours and has therefore been tested for COVID-19. He announced he will not continue with the show while he awaits the results.
Piers Morgan Being Tested For COVID-19
The face of British news, Piers Morgan has had a small scare. He has posted the announcement on Twitter saying "On medical advice, and out of an abundance of caution for a mild symptom that arose in the past 48 hrs, I've had a test for COVID-19 and so won't be working on @GMB until I get the results back, which should be tomorrow."
The crew of Good Morning Britain has been minimized for safety, even forcing Piers to have to apply his own makeup (which he admits he is terrible at). Piers wants to avoid putting any of the GMB crew or his co-stars at risk in case he does have the virus.
Piers Morgan's GMB Co-Presenter Kate Garraway's Husband Fights COVID-19
He has been following along fellow GMB presenter Kate Garraway's terrifying ordeal with her husband's desperate battle with the disease. Her husband Derek Draper has been in intensive care for the past month since he showed symptoms on March 30th.
He has also used his aggressive approach to question the UK government's slow response to the deadly virus, even pushing the Home Office minister Victoria Atkins on the NHS staff's lack of equipment.

Fingers crossed for good news for Piers.
