With her iconic roles in the eighties and nineties, actress Molly Ringwald influenced an entire generation of teenagers and the redhead is still an international household name today and very much in-demand.
Molly Ringwald was an idol for many teenagers across the globe. The daughter of blind Jazz pianist Robert Scott Ringwald and his wife Adele, she began her career when she was just five years old starring as Alice in Alice in Wonderland in a local stage production. A year later, she recorded a Dixieland Jazz album with her father and his band.

She is perhaps best known for her roles in Sixteen Candles (1984), The Breakfast Club (1985) and Pretty in Pink (1986), all of which were directed by John Hughes (†2009) and deal with the trials and tribulations of upper middle class high school life. Molly has also always stayed true to her beginnings and has even starred in productions on Broadway.

Molly has been happily married to her second husband Panio Gianopoulos since 2007 and they have three children. Their daughter Matilda was born in 2003, twins Adele and Roman followed in 2009.

Molly still works as an actress and last appeared in the series Riverdale, which is based on the popular Archie comic series. Her last film role was Amy in King Cobra in 2016. Molly is not one to rest on her laurels though, and her next big Hollywood project is already in the making. She is currently filming the thriller Siberia with Keanu Reeves and the film is scheduled to be released later this year.
