Rihanna has confirmed why she had turned down the NFL offer to perform at the 2018 Superbowl. Watch this video to find out why!

In a recent interview with Vogue, Rihanna confirmed the reason she turned down the 2018 Super Bowl Halftime Show. It was initially reported by US Weekly that the 31-year-old singer turned down the offer due to the Colin Kaepernick kneeling controversy of 2016. In her Vogue interview, Rihanna said that was “absolutely” her reason for refusing the NFL’s offer. I couldn’t dare do that. For what? Who gains from that? Not my people. I just couldn’t be a sellout". RiRi said she did not want to be of any “service to them,” as she did not agree with their treatment of Kaepernick. "I couldn’t be an enabler. There’s things within that organization that I do not agree with at all, and I was not about to go and be of service to them in any way."
