Selena Gomez Announces Netflix Docuseries ‘Living Undocumented’

On 18th September, Gomez took to Instagram to share a trailer for her upcoming documentary series, Living Undocumented. This will be the first series she has produced since her role as the executive producer of Thirteen Reasons Why. 

According to Gomez, the series will discuss the “immigration issue” in America and follow eight families as they live with the fear of deportation, highlighting the brutality of life for undocumented immigrants.

Gomez wants to raise awareness for undocumented immigrants

Gomez talked to Hollywood Reporter about her hopes for the series to raise awareness to the subject of undocumented immigrants and understand the hardships that they have to endure. Selena Gomez stated Living Undocumented will be released globally on Oct. 2 on Netflix.
