Sharon Stone has admitted to difficulties with processing the death of her ex, Steve Bing. Read the few thoughts the actress shared in a new interview three days after Bing died by suicide.

Sharon Stone is understandably still coming to terms with the death of Steve Bing.

The 62-year-old actress dated Bing for an unspecified period of time, but the pair appear in photos together in the early 1990s all the way through the early 2000s.

Bing, a businessman, philanthropist, and film producer, died by suicide on June 22 after he jumped from his Century City building home in Los Angeles. He was 55.

On Thursday, Stone spoke to Extra, providing the publication with her reaction to the news. "This is really hard," Stone said. "I had a really hard time with it."

"He's a complicated person who I didn't think always made good decisions. It's a tough one. It's a very tough one," she added.

Since news broke of the death, sources have spoken about Bing's struggles with mental health. "He had a long battle with depression," a source told People.

Another source with Page Six shared similar remarks, saying, "It was the mental issues that tormented him. He would often disappear for long periods of time."

"Steve was the most charming, caring and generous guy you could ever meet," the source added. "He has gone through a dark time for years. He talked about battling mental illness... His close friends are devastated about his death but, sadly, not surprised."

Elizabeth Hurley remembers Steve Bing

Another of Bing's exes, model Elizabeth Hurley, posted a tribute to him upon learning of his death. "Our time together was very happy and I'm posting these pictures because although we went through some tough times, it's the good, wonderful memories of a sweet, kind man that matter," Hurley wrote.

Hurley and Bing share a son, Damian, together. Bing is also survived by a daughter, Kira, whom he shared with tennis star Lisa Bonder.
