Paul Michael Glaser (75), aka David Michael Starsky, and David Soul (74), aka Kenneth Richard "Hutch" Hutchinson, were the most famous cop duo of the seventies. The crime series was produced from 1975 to 1979 and ran for four seasons. The show was a hit thanks to the humorous exchanges between Starsky and Hutch, but also thanks to its raw and honest portrayal of some of the downsides of police work.

Paul Michael Glaser, aka Starsky, became an international star thanks to the hit series and has directed several productions since then, including Miami Vice and The Running Man. In 2003 he returned to the screen in Something’s Gotta Give and had a small role in the film adaptation of Starsky and Hutch in 2004. His last appearance was in the series Ray Donovan in 2014.
He also appeared in several television series, including Las Vegas and The Mentalist. Shortly before the deaths of his first wife Elizabeth and his daughter Ariel from AIDS, he founded the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation with friends in 1988.
In 1996 he married his second wife Tracy Barone, but, unfortunately, the couple filed for divorce in 2006. Paul also has a son named Jake from his first marriage and a daughter named Zoe from his second marriage.
David Soul played Hutch
David Soul, aka Hutch, appeared in several television series both before and after Starsky & Hutch and had a supporting role in the 1973 Clint Eastwod film Dirty Harry II - Calahan. He also had a guest role in the 2004 film adaptation of Starsky and Hutch.
In the mid-seventies, the aptly-named Soul, embraced his passion for music and released several albums and singles, including his first and most successful single Don't Give Up on Us. David has been married five times and has five children. He has been married to his fifth wife Helen Snell since 2010. Fans can see him in the action drama Payne & Redemption, which will be released later this year.
