Stephen Hill is a New York native, but was raised mainly in Willingsboro, New Jersey. He didn't begin his acting career until after he graduated from Hampton University with honors in mass media/broadcasting. His first job upon graduating was as a copier salesman in New York.
Hill began intense acting classes with Susan Batson, a renowned coach in the early 2000's. He was inspired to fulfill his acting dreams when his mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2003, which he honors his creative career to. Slowly but surely, Hill was offered more roles on television, such as appearing on Law & Order: SVU, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Boardwalk Empire.
Stephen Hill began the reboot of the 1980's series, Magnum P.I. in 2018 and portrays a military veteran who flies helicopters. He stars alongside Jay Hernandez and Perdita Weeks. Hill can also been seen in the 2018 Netflix miniseries, Maniac. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
