Taylor Swift is on the cover of January's British Vogue and she looks absolutely gorgeous. Not only does she stun, she also opens up about her songwriting, the importance of ownership and her upcoming film, Cats

Taylor Swift recently made history at the 2019 American Music Awards by becoming the most-awarded artist of all time, surpassing Michael Jackson. Now, she is on the January cover of British Vogue and opens up about her music, Cats, ownership of your work and more.

The singer looks absolutely stunning in muted colours on the cover, showing her mature and elegant style. For her piece in the issue, the Lover singer sits down with Broadway legend Andrew Lloyd Webber (who is the creator of Cats) to have a conversation.

Swift reflected on how and why she has written so many of her own songs. "I think [writing] is really important – also from the side of ownership over what you do and make," noting that when you write your own music, you have an undeniable connection to what the song is saying and what you're saying to the public.

Webber asked Taylor Swift if working on Cats and her love of performing has inspired a desire for her to pursue a career in acting. She replied, "I have no idea." "As I get older, I’m learning that wisdom is learning how dumb you are compared to how much you are going to know," was her answer to where she sees herself in the future.
