Michael Jackson died on 25th June 2009 at just 50 years of age. Jackson is still one of the most successful musicians of all time and has his numerous hits have changed the course of music history forever. His sudden death was, of course, most shocking for his three children Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket.
Nurse Debbie Rowe is the mother of two of Michael Jackson's children: Prince Michael I and Paris Jackson. Jackson and Debbie got married in November 1996 in Sydney. Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. aka Prince Michael I. was born on 13th February 1997 and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson was born on the 3rd April 1998. The couple got divorced in October 1999. Jackson was granted custody of both children.
Prince Michael Jackson II. (also called Blanket) was carried and brought into the world by an unknown surrogate. He was born on the 21st February 2002. Blanket was just seven years old when his father died.
The official memorial service for Michael Jackson was held on 7th July 2009. His family, friends and numerous celebrities paid their respects to the "King of Pop" at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Paris Jackson gave a heartbreaking and incredibly moving speech whilst trying to hold back her tears.
Michael Jackson was awarded a Grammy posthumously for his life's work. His children accepted the award in his place. Their attendance moved some of the guests attending the ceremony to tears.

The Jackson clan looked after Michael's three children. They are particularly close to their aunt LaToya. The "King of Pop's" three children will inherit his entire fortune. Michael Jackson's will dictates that they will each receive a large percentage of it when they turn eighteen, another chunk when they turn thirty-three and the rest on their fortieth birthdays.

However, Prince Michael Jackson does have one thing in common with his father: he supports a number of charitable causes. His foundation "Heal L.A." aims to eradicate child abuse and homelessness in L.A..
