Jon & Kate Plus 8 was a series watched and cherished by many. And then the ugly divorce happened. So what happened between Kate and Jon Gosselin and their kids? We'll show you what Kate is up to these days and how she fulfills her career as a full-time mom and TV star!

The well-known TLC mom, Kate Irene Gosselin was born March 28, 1975 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was known for her showcasing the life of her family, specifically her set of twins, her sextuplets and her former husband on television every week. She was also infamously known for her manager-mom styled haircut and her nagging tendencies that Jon had no problem expressing his annoyances with on-air, which only drew in more ratings of the series! Jon & Kate Plus 8 originally aired in April of 2007 and officially ended in July of 2017.

After ten years of marriage, the couple had notoriously divorced in 2009 and they were constantly caught up in the tabloids with their heated arguments both during the show and in real-life. During certain events, even the police had to be called and notified for their verbal disputes.

After the divorce

After a brief hiatus of the TLC show, Kate continued on with filming in 2011 with her own show Kate Plus 8. During this time, Kate had written and released a series of non-fiction books, four to be exact. Her books focused primarily on her family life, as well as her very own cook book.

Kate's return to reality TV

In 2010, Kate starred in the entertaining show, Dancing with the Stars, and then was featured in an episode of Wife Swap with model Kendra Wilkinson in 2013. The following year, she was also a contestant on The Apprentice, which was also a celebrity version of the series. She was never a winner in any of the competitive reality shows, but in 2019, Kate announced her return to television. As a single woman, she now has her own show called Kate Plus Date, where she tests the dating scene. We even see a closer look into Kate's life with her twin daughters, Cara and Mady, who just celebrated graduating high school! Will there be a season 2? We have yet to find out!
