On Tuesday, Tom Brady shocked the pro sports world by announcing his departure from the New England Patriots. He's yet to officially announce his new team, but he's expected to soon sign a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tom Brady announced a new chapter in his historic career on Tuesday, March 17. He left behind the New England Patriots, the only team he'd played for in his 20-years in the NFL. But Brady's two statements yesterday only confirmed his departure and thanked Patriots fans. Brady's new team wasn't a part of the news.

But it looks as though Brady's new destination will be Tampa Bay, Florida, as the quarterback for the Buccaneers. Two verified inside sources all but confirmed the news not too long after Brady released his statements on Tuesday. The new signing should be announced soon, however, while Brady first allows for his departure and farewell message to set in.

The Buccaneers will be Brady's first new team in his 20-year career. The 42-year-old was drafted by the Patriots in 2000 and won six Super Bowls with the team over 20 years. It will be odd to see the face of the NFL in a new uniform for the first time, but Brady felt it was time to move on to a new stage. Look for Brady's signing announcement in the near future!
