The reality star at home waiting for the inevitable
Scheana Shay has shared on her Friday podcast the sad and emotional news of her miscarriage. The Vanderpump Rules star is currently at home waiting to naturally miscarry.
On her popular podcast Scheananigans, Shay opened up about the miracle pregnancy with her current boyfriend Brock Davies. The two learned about her pregnancy just a few weeks ago and were very surprised considering doctors have told her it will be nearly impossible to get pregnant on her own.
"I didn't think that I could get pregnant on my own," Shay said.
"My AMH levels, for those of you who know what they are, were 0.28. That's basically your fertility levels, and that tells you your egg count. I have a very low ovarian reserve," she explained.

Thank you to the most amazing fertility doctor ever for making this such a great experience second time around. @drshahinghadir and @scrcivf have been absolutely incredible throughout this journey for me. Second round was successful and we got 7 more mature eggs!!! Now I have 16 total! (you can also refer to my previous post in January for more info)
On Vanderpump Rules, Shay opens up about undergoing the process of freezing her eggs, and the difficult journey of the hormonal process.
The couple was extremely happy about the news, and even planned a special Father's Day surprise to tell her own dad. They told close friends and relatives the news, even calling her castmate Stassi Schroeder to congratulate Schroeder on her own pregnancy announcement.
The happy moment quickly turned for the worse when Shay started bleeding all weekend.
It wasn't until the couple went to receive an ultrasound that the doctors said there was no heartbeat.
"There were parts that he could see where [the fetus] was starting to form and it just didn't," she explained.
"So obviously, [it was] just devastating. We were so excited. To be excited for a few weeks and then it's gone so quickly. It's still been a lot to process."

I've waited a while to actually post something w my BF bc negativity always surrounds my dating life and it can be frustrating. BUT, it's been 7 months and I've never been happier!! I finally am ready to share our relationship as more than just a highlight of stories on here. Everything from literally day 1 up until quarantine is documented in my latest "Meet My Bf" vlog on youtube. Link in profile! ♥️ @brock__davies
She continued through tears, "Now I'm at home and I'm just waiting to naturally miscarry."
"I have to go back to my doctor this week so he can do another ultrasound. Because now I'm just literally sitting here waiting, feeling normal but still treating my body as if I'm pregnant, which is a complete mindf— because I know there's nothing progressing but there's still something there and I haven't passed it yet."
Our condolences to Scheana and Brock.
