Two weeks after the tragic death of her husband Kobe and their daughter Gianna Bryant, Vanessa Bryant is apparently finding the strength to cope with the loss in her family and her three surviving children.
The widow of the NBA legend posted a sweet and emotional video on her Instagram account on Saturday, showing her 7-month-old daughter Capri Kobe Bryant, who is the youngest of the couple's four daughters.
Vanessa Bryant: "She looks just like my Gigi"
In the video, we see little Capri learning to stand up with the help of her aunt. Capri, who is also called Koko, grins and laughs as she manages to do it eventually.
"Good job! Good girl, mamacita! Wanna do it again?" we hear Vanessa asking her. "My Koko Bean," she wrote in the caption of the clip. "She looks just like my Gigi. auntie Ri-Ri. #7months."
Kobe and Vanessa gave their daughters Italian names, as the L.A. Lakers legend spent a big part of his childhood in Italy during the 1980's. Kobe was also a father to Natalia and Bianka, who are 17 and three years old.
Vanessa also shared an announcement on Instagram: A public memorial to Kobe and Gianna will be held at Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 24 2020.
