Kenny Chesney has been a solid figure in the country music industry for many years now. His first album was released back in 1994 and he has sold over 30 million albums worldwide since then. 

Country music artist Kenny Chesney was born on March 26th, 1968 in Knoxville, Tennessee. In 1986, Chesney graduated from high school where he played baseball and football. Kenny received his first guitar for Christmas and began to teach himself how to play it. In 1989, he recorded a self-released demo album in Virginia and sold 1,000 copies while performing at local clubs in Jonson City.

Kenny Chesney's early career

Kenny graduated from East Tennessee State in 1990 and then moved to Nashville to start performing at many local clubs. He became a resident performer at The Turf, which is a honky tonk bar in the city's historic district. Chesney signed his first songwriter's contract in 1992. His debut album titled In My Wildest Dreams was released in 1994 and his career began to take off from there.

With albums being released almost yearly, Chesney is still making country music today. Some of his best known hits include "She's Got It All," "How Forever Feels," "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy," "The Good Stuff," "There Goes My Life," "Beer in Mexico," "Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven," "You and Tequila," "American Kids," "Noise" and "Tip of my Tongue."

Kenny Chesney's Personal Life

The country music star married award-winning actress Renée Zellweger on May 9th, 2005, however on September 15th of that same year, they announced their plans to separate. Chesney later commented on the failed marriage stating that the reason it didn't work out was due to "the fact that I panicked." He has no other public relationships or children.
