Born May 3, 1977 in Granite Falls, North Carolina, country music singer Eric Church has been taking the music industry by surprise since 2005. An early fan of artists including Hank Williams Jr. and Kris Kristofferson, Eric has been singing and writing his own songs since he was given his first guitar at 13!

After gaining experience playing in local bars, Eric would make the move to Nashville in the early 2000s. While Eric struggled for a bit to find a recording label, he would eventually catch the ear of producer Jay Joyce in 2005.
