Limp Bizkit gained millions of fans all over the world especially during the 2000's decade. The band has released six studio albums and numerous tracks over the past years and although the most recent one was released in 2011, Limp Bizkit's frontman, Fred Durst, has been doing quite a lot! Do you know what the music star looks like today? Have you been wondering what the singer and songwriter is up to now? Keep reading and find out below!

Born on August 20, 1970, Fred Durst has been one of the most prominent names in the music industry, better known for being rap-rock band Limp Bizkit's frontman. William Frederick Durst released six studio albums from 1997 to 2011, alongside Wes Borland, DJ Lethal, Sam Rivers, and John Otto, as well as with other Limp Bizkit members. Some of their most famous tracks are probably "Nookie", "Rollin'", and "My Way." Their success has been such that they have won three MTV Europe Music Awards, not to mention they were nominated for three GRAMMY awards during the 2000s.

Gold Cobra is Limp Bizkit's most recent studio album featuring, of course, the talented Fred Durst. It was released in 2011 but that doesn't mean the Jacksonville, Florida, rapper, and songwriter is no longer active in show business. In fact, he has been pursuing different opportunities not only music-related but also on the small and big screens!

In 2018 Fred Durst appeared as a recurring character on the American comedy television show Mostly 4 Millennials, playing "DJ Durst." The series revolves around the social ups and downs of the Millennial generation... in a satirical way! Later on, in 2019, Durst directed and co-wrote the psychological horror thriller titled The Fanatic, starring Pulp Fiction star John Travolta in the role of "Moose," an autistic man who is completely obsessed with meeting his favourite star "Hunter Dunbar," played by the one and only Casper star Devon Sawa! What an interesting combination!

Fred Durst was nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award this year, due to his work in the aforementioned film The Fanatic. Category? Worst Director! The ceremony was set to take place on March 14 but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the winners were announced online and it was revealed Fred Durst lost to Tom Hooper, who directed Cats.
