Camilla Is "Concerned" For Husband Prince Charles After Coronavirus Diagnosis
News that Prince Charles tested positive for the novel coronavirus was shared by Clarence House on Wednesday. He is apparently still in good health, however his wife, Camilla is "worried" about her husband.
Prince Charles is the latest royal to test positive for COVID-19. The pandemic is sweeping the world and causing major disruptions to everyday life in order to flatten the curve of the illness. Both Charles and Camilla are doing what the royal family does best and that is to keep calm and carry on.
Prince Charles "remains in good health"
The Prince of Wales "has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health," according to the statement made by Clarence House. Charles and Camilla are isolating separately at their Balmoral estate in Scotland as Camilla has tested negative for the virus.
Camilla "is concerned for him"
A source revealed that, "both of them remain in good spirits. There is a sense of keeping calm and carrying on. The duchess is concerned for him, but she is aware of his own good spirits and therefore is keeping a close eye on him and mindful of her own situation. She is upbeat," according to People.
The royal couple was not isolating separately ahead of Charles' positive test results and it is not possible at this time to know from whom he caught the virus. However, it was also shared that Charles has spoken to both of his sons and his mother about his diagnosis and will continue to work from home in isolation.
