It was the King's Cup yachting regatta yesterday and Duchess Catherine and Prince William both partook in the event. There was even a cute little surprise visit by Prince George and Princess Charlotte who seemed to be having lots of fun cheering on their mum and dad!

The inaugural King's Cup yachting regatta took place on August 8th, 2019 in Cowes. Prince William and Duchess Catherine competed against other celebrities including John Bishop and adventurer Bear Grylls. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had the cutest little cheerleaders however with Prince George wearing a captain's hat and Princess Charlotte getting caught sticking her tongue out!

Duchess Catherine got the wooden spoon

Th event had Prince William and Duchess Catherine competing against one another and poor Kate came in last place and received the wooden spoon. She accepted with a big smile and lots of laughter! It was Bear Grylls who came in first place and Prince William finished in third place out of the eight boat race.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte all smiles

Princess Charlotte and Prince George were being watched by Kate's parents, Michael and Carole Middleton and everyone seemed to enjoy the day! We absolutely love seeing pictures of the Cambridge's enjoying time as a family, we were just missing Prince Louis who must have been at home.
