Duchess Catherine And Prince William Are Gearing Up For A New Secret Project
It has been reported that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are working on a brand new project that encourages people to get behind the camera. We have all the details down below...
It is a well-known fact that Duchess Catherine is very passionate about (and quite good at) photography. According to the Mail Online, the Cambridge's are working on a new project to get people behind the camera by launching a photography competition called the Earthshot Prize.
The Cambridge's: Earthshot Prize
William and Kate's charity The Royal Foundation has applied for a trademark entitled Earthshot Prize that states it "could be used for photographs, clothing, footwear and headgear, as well as education and training services, publishing, cultural activities, competitions and awards and all relating to nature conservation and the environment," according to Hello.

Today is #WorldPhotographyDay when we celebrate the art, craft, science and history of photography. Photography can provide a universal language for anyone to express themselves and release their thoughts and feelings. In June this year The Duchess of Cambridge joined children from @ActionforChildrenUK for a special photography workshop run by @RoyalPhotographicSociety. Among the children The Duchess met at the workshop was Josh, aged 9 — and this World Photography Day we're excited to share some of Josh's images that he took that day. Swipe ⬅️ to take a closer look. Fantastic work Josh! Ahead of The Duchess's visit to the photography workshop we announced that Her Majesty The Queen passed the patronage of The Royal Photographic Society to The Duchess, having held the role for 67 years. The Duchess has a longstanding interest in photography, and her patronage will further highlight the beneficial impact that art and creativity can have on emotional wellbeing, particularly for children and young people. Duchess Catherine loves photography
Duchess Catherine is the one who captures the annual official images of her three children for their birthdays and she also made history when she captioned the first photos of Princess Charlotte when she was born in 2015. She was also given a lifetime honorary membership at the Royal Photographic Society for her family portraits in 2017. She became the patron of the society in June this year.
