Duchess Catherine and Prince William visit the Queen in Scotland
After a break from their royal duties, and a well-deserved family holiday on the Caribbean island of Mustique, Duchess Catherine and Prince William are back! The gorgeous royal couple and their family visited Queen Elizabeth II at her summer residence in Balmoral earlier this month.
Duchess Catherine (36) and Prince William (36) have been sorely missed by their fans, but they have now returned from their summer holiday and are making public appearances again. Along with their children Prince George (5), Princess Charlotte (3) and Prince Louis (4 months), they travelled to Scotland to visit the Queen at Balmoral.
Duchess Catherine and Prince William attended a service
On Sunday, Duchess Catherine and Prince William attended a service held in the nearby church Crathie Kirk, along with Queen Elizabeth II (92). The Queen's children, Prince Charles (69), Prince Edward (54) and Princess Anne (68) were also present.
Prince William and Duchess Catherine usually travel to Balmoral in September, but this year, Prince George will be starting school in September and so their annual visit has been moved forward a month.
In previous years, the family have taken a longer break and spent several weeks in the Caribbean or other exotic holiday destinations. Duchess Catherine and Prince William made their last public appearance at the Wimbledon finale in mid-July this year. We're glad to see them back in action!
