Duchess Catherine's feelings about the Sandringham Christmas
Christmas is quickly approaching and with recent suggestions of tensions between the Cambridges and the Sussexes, Christmas at Sandringham has the potential to be an ordeal this year.
Duchess Catherine along with Prince William and their three children George, Charlotte and Louis, are set to spend Christmas with the Queen and the Sussexes at the Queen's Norfolk residence in Sandringham this year. Despite previous reports that they would be spending the holidays with the Middletons in Bucklebury.
We have learned from royal biographer Christopher Wilson and the Daily Mail, that "Kate, 36, will be wanting to get away to her own family in Bucklebury, following Christmas at Sandringham with the Queen and other royals." Adding that the recent tensions between both Kate and Meghan will not make things easier over the holidays.
Home for the Holidays
The Duchess of Cambridge is rather a homebody and would love to be able to be off-duty and relax with her immediate family over Christmas. We have to say, that sounds like a rather simple request!
However, it is expected that the Sussexes will be staying at the Cambridges Norfolk home this Christmas, as they did last year. Here's hoping that Christmas can bring everyone together and that all goes smoothly for the royals in Sandringham this year!
